Why Rose Quartz is more powerful than you realise.

After holding a beautiful event at the weekend where we focused on the Heart Chakra, of course the Rose Quartz crystals showed up in a big way. Mama Rose took 18 of us on a huge heart healing journey on Sunday so I just wanted to delve a little bit more into how Rose Quartz facilitates this process and she's not as soft as you might think!

The Medicine of Rose Quartz.

Of course, we all know that Rose Quartz is the corner stone for the Heart Chakra and labelled by many (including me) as 'The Stone of Our Times.' Its energy is essential to soothing and healing the wounds our hearts accumulate on this earthly plane. It is a stone for those of us who have struggled with love at any time and wish to open and expand to the beauty of life. At some point, many of us have come to the conclusion that somehow we are not good, not worthy or even not worth loving, this is something I've struggled with myself personally and had crystal allies support me with hugely. As a result of this lack of self love, we also might not know how to love ourselves or how to give and share love with others. Not feeling inherently good about ourselves makes it very difficult to attract all sorts of positive circumstances in our lives and so a deep inner healing journey has to take place to have a chance at deep and lasting peace and fulfilment.

Rose Quartz teaches that the source of love comes from within the self. This is its deepest and most lasting lesson. From this source of infinite love for yourself, any wound, no matter how deep or painful can be healed. I have first hand experience of this and know it to be true.

I want to share with you a teaching from Katrina Raphaell that I feel embodies the essence of Rose Quartz ...

"Rose Quartz gently penetrates the inner chambers of the heart chakra, where all emotional experiences are recorded and stored. As Rose Quartz witnesses the trauma written therein it empathises, understands and begins to dissolve the accumulated burdens that suppress the hearts ability to give and receive love. Such deep wisdom and it goes without saying but Rose Quartz won't go on this journey alone. Crystals are very much like signposts for our own healing, they will point you in the direction of where you need to go but it is you that must take the steps to get there. This grounded action in this physical plane is how you work alongside the crystals energy. Showing up for yourself in new ways is an honour and a commitment to this loving journey she is taking you on. This is why I say crystals are companions, they are support for the journey and the road ahead but it is you and you alone that must walk it. 

A note on the healing process.

I do want to make sure I mention, that this process can take many months or even years and as this process of healing internalised pain unfolds, there may be many times where forgotten experiences resurface. Allow tears to flow and release these stored emotions but as you may be feeling more vulnerable during this process, this is where I recommend always carrying your Rose Quartz to support you. As you no longer show up with a critical voice but learn to hold yourself gently through these difficult times, this is where you learn to trust yourself. You begin to see that no matter what happens you will always be there for you. This is the deep inner self love and trust that is the basis and foundation from which all else can bloom and grow.
