Crystals to Guide You Through The Fire Horse Year.

After doing a little poll on my Instagram channel it was by far the most requested blog post to write next. So after tuning into the stones and pondering... 'What Crystal Allies can guide us in this Fire Horse year?' I would love to share my thoughts with you and what the stones have shared with me too. 

Rather than finding lists of information and meanings from books here, what you will find here is a broader wisdom that comes from many of my teachers, passed down knowledge from generations of crystal healers before me and the wisdom personally gained from being in deep relationship with the stones. 

Why are we all connecting with the Fire Horse?

It seems this year, more than ever before, humanity is really tapping into this energy of the Fire Horse and of The Chinese Zodiac, and we really seem to have this connection with it, you can see it everywhere! I think it's because a lot of us can actually feel it in our hearts, we know that these animals are not just arbitrarily prescribed and it really is no coincidence this year is the Fire Horse. In our hearts we know we are ready for a breakthrough! After the year of the Snake, we can feel there is this big jump forward, we know this intuitively and in our hearts. As a people, we are ready to jump forward and expand.

Riding the Fire Horse Energy.

So let's just take a moment to tap into the profound energy of the Fire Horse...

This is a fire year and a fire animal (Horse) so double fire! Horses are the most Yang energy out of all the animals in the Chinese Zodiac so this is a warm, bright energy that shines with a strong vibrant energy like the sun! It drives action, ambition, and physical strength. Balanced Yang energy boosts our overall vitality, life force energy and zest for life! This Yang energy complements the passive, receptive nature of Yin.

Chinese Theory, Colour and The Fire Horse.

In ancient Chinese theory, the fire element is related to the Heart and the colour Red. It is not the Green colour of the Heart Chakra, it is the vibrant, alive colour Red of the blood pumped around your body by your Heart, giving you LIFE! So as a basis for looking at what Stones and Crystals will work best for you this year, bare in mind that we are very much going to relate to the colour Red.

This year you are being called back to your Heart. This year you are being called to remember what has been planted there. This is the year your Heart can awaken and EXPAND.

The heart is linked to passion, creativity and your divine power and ability to create. Your heart has the same power to create as our great Mother Earth! Humanity has so much potential, when we live inside our hearts. This is the year to create what you desire to see in the world.

Crystals and The Fire Horse.

Heart, Fire, Imagining, Creating, Desire, Potential, Purpose, Expansion, Activation.

There is so much medicine in Dark Red Stones this year.

Carnelian, Hematite, Thulite, Ruby, Garnet, Cinnabar, Eudialyte, Red Tigers Eye, Red Jasper and Rubellite to name just a few. I feel especially called to those stones that hold Iron and Hematite which many of them do but all of these Dark Red Stones hold the same superpower. Their medicine is in the life giving quality of the red of the Blood that makes us ALIVE. It is warmth, animation, motion and Emotion. Blood is movement and aliveness, it carries the spirit through the body so we feel alive in not just a physical but spiritual sense too. Red is linked to the female and the feminine ability to make life. 

Although I don't want to make specific lists, I do just want to dive a little deeper on just two of the stones...

Carnelian- Is the first crystal that came to me this year and it rode up on me like a Fire Horse! I wasn't expecting it to appear in my life when it did but that's crystals for you.

It is the perfect boost of firey, passionate, confident, creative energy that will really get your heart flowing and inner fires lit! It is a beautiful stone of action. It's a powerful motivator and brings all the vitality we need to get things going. 

This is very much a stone of physical activation. We need this movement and vitality as without this power of the physical energies, we will struggle to achieve much in life. This stone also holds a great reminder for those of us in the spiritual realm to not just do our work from the heart chakra up but that we must also do our work in the untidy realm of the lower chakras and our physical existence. Carrying Carnelian can really awaken these lower chakras giving us this life force vital energy that we need to take strong actions. 

*Also a note, Carnelian is a beautiful stone to use when you're going further into using intense energies such as Moldavite or Phenacite as it is even more important to keep connected to the physical self in these instances. 

Hematite Quartz-  Being a quartz, it has a beautiful activating energy and here it comes along with Hematite too, which is the beautiful Iron mineral element of the blood that flows through us all. This is so beautifully carried and amplified by being within the Master Healer- Quartz. A powerful duo. (I recommend to try and get the darkest Red you can find as you find there will be heavier trace elements of the mineral Iron in here which is what you want to work with.) This is about connecting you back to your soul purpose in this lifetime but remember we are no longer dreaming or thinking, planning or making lists, we are DOING IT! This stone is here to help you reclaim your power and reclaim your fire.

*It is also worth mentioning Moldavite. Moldavite is an excellent Fire Horse Crystal (and all other Tektites) because of the very active Yang energy under which they are formed. This also includes Fulgurite and Lightning Struck Quartz because again they carried this extreme Yang energy during the events that formed them.

As always, please take what resonates with your energy field and your current practices. Of course life will always contain both Yin and Yang and we aim to keep both in balance by honouring both the gentle acceptance of Yin and the fiery drive of the Yang. This is how we will create a life that is aligned, fulfilling, and full of joy.
